Maapilim Good Face Day Kit // $75 bi-monthly subscription
Every gentleman needs to take care of his face - that's simply a fact. It's the thing that everyone in your life, including yourself, is looking at most of the time. If aesthetics aren't enough to convince you, you should at least do it for the long-term health of your skin. After all, we're not immune to things like dry skin, pimples, and other problems of that nature. The Good Face Day Kit by Maapilim looks to help guys properly maintain their face, and it makes it easy through a bi-monthly subscription. Furthermore, it helps you enjoy the process and incorporates some amazing scents that are even a little bit therapeutic. The standard kit comes with a 2-month supply of:
Face Cleanser
Face Moisturizer
Eye Cream
In addition, Maapilim sends you free samples of other products that you might like with your kit. For my first kit, I received hand cream, a mini bottle of essential oils, and a Sand magazine as freebies. Feel free to scroll to the end if you're just looking for a short summary, otherwise let's take a look at each component of the kit.
Face Cleanser // $18 retail
The purpose of this face cleanser is to remove the dirt and grime from your skin, without stripping away too much moisture. Maapilim claims that this cleanser contains witch hazel and aloe vera to both soothe and repair dry, damaged skin. Luckily for them, it does exactly that. You only need a small quantity to get a lather going, and this thing smells incredible. The combination of bergamot, jasmine, and cedarwood creates a scent that just feels natural and high quality. It's not an annoying, overbearing scent that was put in just for the purpose of fragrance. Once you finish lathering, you just wash it off with warm water. You can see a noticeable glow in your face and it leaves your skin feeling very supple. I use it at night, but it could work any time of the day. The best face wash I've found so far.

Face Moisturizer // $49 retail
After you've cleansed your face, you have to lock in the moisture to keep your skin vibrant and strong. When you wash your face with warm water, it opens up your pores temporarily, which is when you have to apply this face moisturizer. To be honest, looking at the size of it, it doesn't look like it would last anywhere near 2 months. But surprisingly, a little bit goes a long way. Just 3-4 dabs is enough, but still I think it's going to cut it close for 2 months. Like the face cleanser, this also has a great, subtle scent to it that's refreshing. It keeps my skin smooth for an entire 24 hours and feels like it's composed of very high quality ingredients. I only wish it was a little more affordable and a little larger.

Eye Cream // $39 retail
Frankly, this is a product that I never thought I would use, because I generally associate eye creams with treating older skin, wrinkles, etc. However, I've found this to be a blessing. With the amount of screen-time we consume nowadays, our eyes take quite a beating. Whether it's because of work or watching Netflix late into the night, the strain will start to manifest itself over time through dark circles and puffy eyes. This eye cream contains ingredients such as colloidal oats, quinoa, and vitamin C to keep skin tones even looking and reduce inflammation naturally. I use this at night before sleeping to let it work throughout the night. Our eyes are the first thing people generally look at, so it's important to keep them looking healthy - this cream is a major go.

Hand Cream (sample) // $27 retail
My kit included two of these hand cream samples, and like the rest of the products, it has that same amazing scent. In terms of nourishment, it contains aloe vera and jojoba oil to hydrate the skin. When applying it, it absorbs into your skin almost immediately and does not leave any grease/shine. While I don't think I would shell out $27 for hand cream, someone who deals with dry skin on their hands (especially during the winters) might find it worthwhile.

Essential Oil Blend (sample) // No retail
Interestingly enough, I could not find this oil blend sold separately on Maapilim's website. Nevertheless the sample size is plenty, since it only requires a few drops for each use. The focus of this oil blend is aromatherapy and you have complete freedom in how you can use it. You could add a couple drops to an oil diffuser or water that you plan on steaming. Mine specifically said that taking a short whiff can freshen your breath instantly, which it did to some extent. While there is potential for this product, I think it's best suited for those that are really invested in aromatherapy practices.

Conclusion
The Good Face Day Kit, in my opinion, does a lot of things really well. The common themes between the face cleanser, face moisturizer, and eye cream are: phenomenal scents, high-quality ingredients, nourishment, and premium packaging. The price point is on the higher side at $75 every two months, but honestly you're getting your money's worth via the quality of the product and the premium experience associated with it. The free samples also give you some additional stuff to try out and see what works best for you. My main concern is the size of the face moisturizer and if it'll last 2 months, but everything else seems to be almost perfect.
