2020 Holiday Gift Guide for Her

We have officially entered the holiday season now that Thanksgiving is here! Which means that once Black Friday sales start (in some cases, they've already started), you're going to be looking for ideas that you can gift to the girl/woman in your life, whoever it may be.

Luckily for you, I have partnered with another blogger, Wine and Wander, to bring you this guest post with a personally curated list of gift ideas by her that will make your shopping 10x easier! These gift ideas are categorized by the type of interest your recipient may have, and they're also categorized by price. Go check out Wine and Wander as well, because her blog has a "Gift Guide for Him" post (curated by yours truly), in case you know someone looking to get a gift for the man in their lives.

Without further ado, here are Wine and Wander's thoughts on the best holiday gifts!

For the Outdoors-y Girl

$50 and under

  • Hydroflask 32oz Wide Mouth - This water bottle makes drinking water, so easy! Though water is a necessity, it's one of those things we all often don't pay much attention to, so it's important to make it as simple as possible to get your daily intake. These vacuum insulated stainless steel bottles keep cold drinks cold, and hot drinks hot for hours and hours, making it the perfect thing to take along on any adventure - Not to mention, it comes in the most aesthetic colors (my personal favorite being fog). Did I mention that they also sell beer growlers, and wine tumblers?

  • North Face Lumbar Pack or Adidas Waist Bag - This is a must-have in every adventure junkie's wardrobe, and for good reason - Fanny packs are simple, stylish, yet SO functional for being on-the-go. Next time she's on a hike, she'll be glad she brought one along to carry all her small essentials.

$100 and under

  • Lululemon Yoga Mat - This yoga mat, though on the slightly expensive side, is absolutely worth it! The polyurethane top layer absorbs moisture during sweaty sessions, and the natural rubber base gives you a textured grip during low-sweat practices. Not to mention it's pretty gorgeous.

$100+

  • Athleta Workout Set - Quite possibly the easiest way to get motivated for a workout, is by having cute outfits to wear, and Athleta offers performance oriented, but fashion-forward sets. Not only can these sets be worn during workouts, they can also be used as athleisure pieces.

  • Adidas Ultraboost 20 - Every girl needs a good, reliable pair of sneakers, and the Adidas Ultraboosts are not only high-performance running shoes, they're also SO comfortable for any, and all occasions. The midsole contains 20% more boost for an amplified boost feeling, and the shoe provides a snug, sock-like fit. My personal favorites are in the neutral color palette, being white, grey, tan, or black.

For the Girl Who Loves to Be Pampered

$50 and under

  • Blowout at Dry Bar - My personal favorite is a trip to Dry Bar for a blowout - Often times, it's nice to feel pampered for a special occasion, or even in preparation for a trip, and every experience I've had at Dry Bar is better than the next - The experience feels luxurious, and is quite affordable, with blowouts starting at $45. You can either take your girl to Dry Bar, or get her a gift card to use in the future! And if she loves it, she should look into the BarFly membership, which comes in a Signature package (2 blowouts / month - $80-85) or Premium package (4 blowouts / month - $160-165).

$100 and under

  • Slip Silk Pillowcase - Slip Silk pillowcases are known to be THE beauty secret of celebrity hairstylists, dermatologists, and beauty experts. Made with the highest grade (6A) long fiber mulberry silk, these pillowcases can help keep your skin's moisture and expensive hair and face products where they belong, as well as reduce friction. Also, isn't it just the best feeling to wake up without bed head and sleep crease?

  • Parachute Robe - Made from premium 100% long-staple Turkish cotton and designed to have a relaxed, comfortable fit, this cotton cotton robe from Parachute is the perfect staple in anyone's wardrobe. It can be used at practically any time of the day, when waking up, when getting ready for the day, after a shower, etc. This is such a versatile piece!

$100+

  • Diptyque Work From Home Indulgence Set - This gift set is the perfect gift for her to feel some tranquility in her life - With a wood fire candle, perfume oil roll-on, shower foam, and lotion, Diptyque has really nailed down scents from the four corners of the globe and brought them seamlessly together in this one-of-a-kind package, that will have her craving for more.

For the Fashionista

$50 and under

  • Everlane ReNew Fleece Raglan Sweatshirt - This fleece sweatshirt is not only a cozy statement winter piece, it’s also cropped, making it a bit more fashionable - Everlane is known for making clothing that is versatile, and can be worn above or under layers. The oxblood color is a personal favorite of mine, however all the colors are very aesthetically pleasing and neutral to add to any wardrobe. What’s the best part of all? It’s made of 100% recycled polyester derived from 32 plastic water bottles!

$100 and under

  • Ray-Ban Classic Sunglasses - Sunglasses are a MUST-have for everyone, and as we all know Ray-Bans are known to be the most popular, reliable brand out there - Often times, there are sales such as Black Friday, where you can get a steal for amazing quality sunglasses under $100 such as the ones I’ve linked! If you opt for a neutral color such as black, white, or tortoise pattern, she’ll be able to use them with quite literally any outfit.

$100+

  • Longchamp Le Pliage Tote - My favorite bags of all time are the Longchamp Le Pliage totes - Yes, they’re SO common and almost every single girl has one, but that’s for good reason! This bag can literally withstand anything and still look clean, fresh, and unscathed. Even the large size may look small, but it fits so much, I can’t even begin to describe how many times I’ve taken this on weekend trips and been absolutely fine. It’s so versatile that it can look professional in the workplace, as well as be casual for a day trip - I truly cannot recommend it enough. It’s the perfect simple and classy gift for a woman in your life.

For the Jet-setter

$50 and under

  • Kate Spade Passport Holder - Though most people don’t think of this, a passport holder is always a nice perk when traveling - Not only is it functional, it also adds a little bit of flair to your travel accessories. My personal favorites are from Kate Spade, because they’re simple, cute, and not crazy expensive. With soft saffiano leather, they are both nice to touch, and durable to withstand scratches.

$100 and under

  • The Daily Edited Starlight Clear Travel Case - I can’t even begin to explain why a clear travel case is so necessary after all the times I’ve had to rummage through my toiletry set to find one small thing at the bottom - When using a clear travel case, everything is right there in front of your eyes, so you don’t have to waste time trying to empty it out to find what you’re looking for. Not to mention, this one is so cute, with a clear PVC exterior and suede interior detail, and it’s personalized with your initials!

$100+

  • Away Bigger Carry-on Suitcase - Being that I own two of Away’s suitcases, the carry-on, and the medium size, I can’t say enough good things about this brand - Not only are their products extremely aesthetic pleasing (with classic colors and limited edition releases), they are also lightweight and sized to fit in the overhead bin of most major airlines. It also comes with TSA-approved locks, and a TSA-approved removable portable battery so you can always be on the go!

For the Girl Who Loves Personalized Gifts

  • The Night Sky Custom Star Map - To commemorate a memorable day that you’ve shared with your special someone, gift them with this beautiful custom starmap. Printed on museum grade art matte paper and printed using archival links, create your own night sky with a specific location, and text to forever cherish a special day in your lives.

$100 and under

  • Artifact Uprising Brass Easel & Calendar - Artifact Uprising is known for their many personalized accessories, gifts, and home decor pieces, and one of my personal favorites has to be their brass easel and calendar - Not only does it serve the purpose of being a calendar, it’s also an art piece in itself. You can add 12 photos in the calendar design online, whether it be your favorite pictures together, photography she may have taken on your travels together, etc. There’s no limit to how creative you can be with this gift!

$100+

  • Tiffany's Bead Bracelet - A simple, yet elegant way of elevating any outfit is by adding a statement jewelry piece, such as this sterling silver bracelet from Tiffany’s - With its dainty look, it is a nice addition to any outfit and is not overpowering. Best of all, it can be personalized for an extra $35, where you can add initials or symbols. Trust me, she’ll be elated to see that iconic Tiffany blue box.
